Get Involved

Be Part of the ODA Network

The Office of Diaspora Affairs (ODA) invites individuals, organizations, and partners to actively contribute to the development and stability of the South West State of Somalia.

Whether youโ€™re a community group abroad, a professional in the diaspora, or an institution seeking collaboration โ€” there are several ways you can get involved and make a lasting impact.

How You Can Participate

Choose the path that best fits your interest and capacity to contribute.

1. Register in the Diaspora Portal

Become part of the official database of recognized Somali diaspora organizations. Registration connects your group to verified communication channels, partnership opportunities, and official state support.

2. Partner with ODA

Collaborate with us on development programs, policy dialogues, and community initiatives that benefit both the diaspora and the homeland. ODA welcomes partnerships with government institutions, NGOs, private sector entities, and academic organizations.

3. Sponsor Programs

Support impactful initiatives such as the Diaspora Investment Forum, Women & Youth Networks, and Skills Transfer programs. Your contribution helps expand opportunities, sustain projects, and strengthen the role of the diaspora in national progress.
